How long should I wait to open and use your products? 

I recommend you use the salts, bath bombs, and lotion bars within 6 months for the best results, as the color and fragrances may begin to fade after that amount of time. However, the soaps will still get you clean after their fragrance and colors are long gone!

I have an allergy to a specific oil, do you accept custom requests?

Do you test on animals or use animal products in your soaps? 

Nope! And all of my ingredients are cruelty-free, not tested on animals, and ingredients are derived from sustainable sources. 

I'm allergic to fragrance. Do you have any soap for me? 

The Bare Bard sounds perfect for you! No fragrance, no color! However, if you do find that an irritation occurs, please discontinue using it.

I have sensitive skin - Will I be able to use your soap? 

Every body is different. But for the most part, yes, you will! Handmade soaps don’t contain any extra detergents like you might find in store bought bars, so they tend to be milder and gentler on ones skin. But, if you find that the soap is irritating to your sensitive skin, I ask that you stop using it. :(

What if I'm allergic to certain oils?

Send me an email at thebubblybard@gmail.com, I'm happy to try and create something that works for you! However, I cannot guarantee that the soap will be 100% safe for you to use, even custom made, so I ask that if you do have a reaction to please discontinue use. 

What's the best way for someone with sensitive skin to try your products? 

I would start with a sample bar of The Bare Bard (no fragrance, no mica) and see how that works for you. Most of the soaps have sample versions for you to order and try as well. 

What's the size of your soap? 

Each soap varies in size and the approximate weights are listed on their labels. 

How long does a bar of your soap typically last?  

Based on normal use, they can last at least a month!

What should I do to make my soap last longer? 

Let your soap air dry between uses. Purchase a well draining soap dish, or a soap saver, and make sure to not keep your soaps in the shower where the water can continuously fall on it.

How should we store our soap if we’re not going to use it right away? 

If you want to store your soap before you use it, store it in a dark dry area like a linen closet or drawer.

What is the "white powder" on top of some of your bars?

The white powder is called “Soda Ash”. Soda ash forms when unsaponified lye reacts with naturally-occurring carbon dioxide in the air. It doesn’t affect the soap at all, the soap is safe to use.

What is your return policy? 

Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns.
